Plot & Structure: Techniques and Exercises for Crafting a Plot That Grips Readers from Start to Finish by James Scott Bell
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Excellent basic instructional book on writing. There’s nothing that sets this book apart from many of the other technique books I’ve read, but that doesn’t make it any less worthwhile. If you haven’t read a book on plot and structure, this is a great one to get started with. If you have, this is a great refresher course or great to solidify concepts. I expect to come back many times to the book to reread the areas I’ve highlighted.
Highly recommended for writers of all skill levels.
I’ve uploaded a photo of the Table of Contents to give you an idea of what’s inside and if it’s something of interest to you.
