The Color of Compromise: The Truth about the American Church’s Complicity in RacismThe Color of Compromise: The Truth about the American Church’s Complicity in Racism by Jemar Tisby
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book was absolutely incredible. I cannot believe how little I knew about race relations in the American church. I highlighted so many passages and made tons of notes. The book was a quick read, but I needed to take emotional breaks on the regular. The content is dense, but the writing is accessible, making for compelling reading. Jemar Tisby is an excellent storyteller and persuasive activist. My only complaint would be that I would’ve liked it to be even longer. I anticipate rereading my notes many times in the future. Highly recommended for all Christians.
