This was another book I absolutely rushed through. From the first few pages, I was hooked. Capote does a fabulous job of making the characters seen as alive as they really were. The descriptions were fantastic, and of course, the story itself was compelling. I thought the choice to introduce the culprits from the very beginning rather than later was interesting. Instead of being a whodunnit, the book is more of a “how long will they get away with it?” In other words, it’s more about the chase than the story. Highly recommended!
