This was such a quick, fun read. It honestly felt like sitting down with a friend and chatting about life. As a white person, it almost felt like I was eavesdropping on a conversation I had no business being a part of. I loved the stories and the strong narrative voice. My only negative was the seeming lack of focus – the structure was very loose and a bit all over, which is totally fine, other than it’s not my preference. Excellent book for those who enjoy memoirs, light-hearted non-fiction, and a glimpse into a different perspective on life.
