“Dinner time!”

There was a pounding of feet as three children raced down the stairs, sliding into the kitchen one after the other.

“What are we eating, Mom?”

“Spaghetti.”

“YAY!”

Smiling, Mom placed bowls in front of each child. Their faces dropped from joy to disgust instantly.

“What is this?” said the middle child.

“Zoodles,” Mom replied.

“It’s green,” said the oldest.

“We’re trying something new.”

The middle child poked it with a fork. “This isn’t spaghetti. It’s an abomination.”

“Yeah!” yelled the toddler, throwing the bowl on the floor.

Mom sighed, and Dad stood to hug her. “Soooo, McDonald’s?”
