I did not get a whole lot done this week with writing. I ended up getting sick on Weds (not covid!) and spent the next few days zoned out on the couch. I did manage to update my website – now I have a “Published Works” page!! Super proud of myself.
In addition to getting that up, I added a bunch of microfiction posts from 2021 – backdated. I had them up on my Instagram, but it never occurred to me to put them on the blog too. I finished several book review posts and a few poetry posts, and I have those scheduled for the next few weeks, so that’s one more thing to check off my list.
I did a good deal of reading while such: I finished Alone (3 star, hated the MC) and The Golden Compass (loved it!). I’m part way through Searching for Sunday as well as Damn the Rejections, and I just barely started The Subtle Knife – the second book of the His Dark Materials trilogy.
I finally had an idea for tiktok and recorded a video, and I have a second one in the pipeline that is almost ready to go. I edited Zombie Love a bit more (8400 words into this edit), and plan to do the next chapter of Adventures on the Epi this evening and tomorrow morning. Moving along 2022 nicely so far!
