This was a fantastic book. It was raw and emotional – I definitely cried a few times. I loved the various perspectives of the characters as well as the epistolary style of some of the sections. Jones does a wonderful job creating compelling characters and allowing the reader to see and empathize with all the characters. She does a marvelous job showing all the shades of life: life isn’t as black and white as so many books present. Finally, the writing is beautiful. Highly recommended.
