It’s been a LONG tone since I’ve posted. It’s rough with a baby, house construction, and personal stuff going on, and, to be totally honest, no one really reads this anyway. But that’s not important! I’m back!
A couple updates:
– I stopped editing my pirate book because I got stuck on the romance subplot. I need to go back and rework a lot of stuff. Writing romance is hard.
– I’m now editing my fantasy book. It’s much more polished, so edits are easier.
– I’m partway through a hallmark-style romance first draft. Again, writing romance is hard.
– I went to a conference and pitched my zombie book. Both agents encouraged me to send a query, but I think one of those agents says that to everyone. The other asked me to get a professional beta read before I send it to her, so that’s where I am right now. I’ve gone through my zombie book yet again, and now it’s off! I should hear back by the end of June with the reader’s thoughts and impressions.
