The 7½ Deaths of Evelyn HardcastleThe 7½ Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I loved this book so much that the moment I finished, I shoved it into my husband’s hand and demanded he read it immediately. This book was so creative and imaginative it’s hard to describe in a book review.

Basically, you wake up in a different body and can’t remember who you are. At the end of the day, you find that you are tasked with solving a murder that happens at the manor where you are staying. The next day you wake up in a different body and try to solve the same murder. You, the reader, have several hosts, each with their own opinions, backgrounds, and goals. As the reader, you need to sort out fact from fiction to get to the bottom of the mystery.

It’s a fantastically creative story with dynamite storytelling and excellent writing. Highly recommended for those who like creative fiction and mysteries.
